What Is Future Continuous Tense?

1-The future continuous tense is a verb tense that shows an action happening over a period of time in the future.
El Future Continuous se utiliza para hablar de una acción que estará ocurriendo en un momento específico del futuro.
“I will be dancing all night” is an example of the future continuous tense

2-The Future Continuous tense is often used in English as a way to talk about something happening at a given point in the future.

USE:

1. Acción que estará ocurriendo en un momento determinado del futuro

At 10 p.m. tonight, I will be sleeping.
A las 10 p. m. esta noche, estaré durmiendo.

2. Acción que estará en progreso durante un período futuro

This time tomorrow, we will be traveling.
A esta hora mañana, estaremos viajando.

3. Preguntar de manera educada sobre los planes de alguien

Will you be using the car tonight?
¿Estarás usando el carro esta noche?

RULES?

The Future Continuous tense can be used to create positive and

negative sentences or a question sentence (interrogative sentence).

THE STRUCTURE IS:

The future continuous tense is formed with 'will + be + -ing form

of the verb.'

subject	+	auxiliary verb WILL	+	auxiliary verb BE	+	main verb

AFFIRMATIVE:

SUBJECT + WILL + BE + PRINCIPAL VERBS+ING +COMPLEMENT

For example:

She will be studying tomorrow.

She will be acting at the theater tonight.

He will be selling all the fruits this afternoon.

NEGATIVE SENTENCES:

SUBJECT + WILL +NOT / BE + PRINCIPAL VERBS +ING +COMPLEMENT

To form a negative sentence in the future continuous tense,

we use the words

“will not” or “won’t” and “be” plus the present participle of the

actionable verb.

SUBJECT + WILL +NOT / BE + PRINCIPAL VERBS +ING +COMPLEMENT

EXAMPLE:

I will not be going to school this time.

He won’t be swimming tonight.

QUESTIONS:

To form a question in the future continuous tense, use the

words “will” and

“be” plus the subject and the present participle of the

actionable verb.

EXAMPLE:

Will they be attending the party next week?

Will we be watching a film tonight?

The Adverbs of Time That Are Used in Future Continuous Tense:

To further specify what time the actions in question take place, we can add temporal adverbs. Some adverbs we can use with Future Continuous Tense are:
