GERUND

El gerundio en inglés es una forma verbal que se forma al agregar el sufijo "-

ing" al verbo en infinitivo. En español, el gerundio equivale a la terminación

"-ando" o "-endo" de los verbos.

Gerundio en inglés

Se usa para expresar acciones continuas o en progreso
Puede funcionar como sujeto, objeto, complemento

Se usa después de preposiciones, como:
on,
"in ,
"at"
for,
from,
to,
before,
after,
about,
under,
from,
with,
without etc.
EXAMPLE:

"I'm tired of waiting" (Estoy cansado de esperar)
"She is interested in learning Spanish" (Ella está interesada en aprender
español)

"Instead of studying for her exams, she went out every night" (En lugar de
estudiar para los exámenes, salía todas las noches)
"I am interested in visiting the museum" (Tengo interés en visitar el
museo)

EXAMPLE : I hate cooking (Odio cocinar).
